Avatar
Movie: Avatar
Main Actors: Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana and Sigourney Weaver
MPAA Rating: PG-13
Passionate Expressions: A few here and there.
Useless Vulgar Language: Again, a few here and there, the language is not anything worth mentioning in this movie
Sex in a Good Light: Nope
Sex in a Bad Light: Sex is not good just cause Mother Nature approves, in fact it is kind of creepy. Mate little lab rats, mate.
Manly Violence: This movie had a lot of this, done well, and thought out.
Action Violence: Not really
Pointless Violence: Don’t remember any.
Manly Rating: C
Scorecard
Cinematography: A
Visual Effects: A+++
Sound/Score: B
Story: D
Acting: B
Food to Watch With: Watching this movie made me want Jello, so Jello it is.
Plot Synopsis: The evil white man tries to put a smack down on the wonderful, perfect natives.
Review: There is probably little about this movie that I could tell you that you probably don’t know already. Is this a visual/imaginative cinematic masterpiece….YES! Was this the Amazing story of the year…….HAHAHAHAHA…NO! If you want to know what this movie is about, go watch Disney’s Pocahontas and when you are done throwing up you will know the entire plot/story/script/agenda of Avatar. Just because you have a big budget James Cameron doesn't mean you are doing anything more then the fuzzy things in my belly button could do with one lint strand tied behind their back.
Life Lessons: If you are the “Evil White Guy”, even if you are super-awesome, James Cameron will kill you.
Summary: If you are going to see this movie, it should be on a large 3D screen, the visuals are worth suffering the story/preaching for.
Would I Watch This Again: In a 3D theater, yes. Anywhere else, no.
